Hawthorn Logistics awarded Certified Haulier status by IAA

Hawthorn Logistics are pleased to announce that we have been awarded Certified Haulier status by the Irish Aviation Authority of Ireland in May 2016. This follows on from our certification as a fully compliant Authorised Economic Operator (AEO).

The certification is under the IAA’s continuing improvement procedures for airfreight security regulation. Hawthorn Logistics are one of the first Irish Freight Forwarders to receive this recognition.

The new process replaces Regulated Agent status and allows us to handle “Known Consignor/ Known Cargo” airfreight exports.

The benefits to our customers are:
